Well looks like my engine seized. I was riding in the field out behind my house, this is right after I had to go and get two new bolts for the exhaust manifold and also noticed I had no rear breaks look at those and missing 2 out of the 3 disc bolts so had to get those as well. Anyway fixed that and got halfway out in the field and the engine starting making a very loud rattling noise and then I started losing power so that at full throttle I was barely moving and then it made like a whooshing pop noise and died. I tried to kick start it and won't budge.

This is getting really old since this is the only quad I own and hence the only one I can ride so if it's broke....no riding and that really pisses me off and I deffinitely spend more time fixing it then riding it. Think I need to buy a different quad and put this one to the side for awhile.

Sorry Gforce! You never took the motor apart, correct? Remember it is an old engine! Now is your chance to break it apart and make it run as good as it looks.

Gforce, pull that thing apart! Just hopped into the garage I have a piston and rings! And you know we all got your back.. I know you are not as lazy or distracted as I am! Provided the crank isn't screwed up you can knock this out in a weekend!

Hey G...force.

Looks like you have put alot of yourself into that 230. It would be ashamed to cull it now.
You my find that all it "needs" is a top end to get it on the dirt again. But P.G. is on the right track, as long as it torn down, you can buid it back the way you want.

Good luck and...........keepemalive.

He'll come around, I can't count the number of times I was gonna give this thing up.... But as much as it drives me crazy, it also helps keep my sanity!!!

Great to have you back for a visit BigMc! But, I have to take off for physical therapy on my knee.

Hope you and yours are good today and always!

I love the pics man. I did notice the C.C.O.S. reference in your profile. Dont you need some "quotes" around that with a foot note or something? jk. proud to see your paying attention.
