Default 85 to 88 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport help.

Well, I finally got around to removing my engine from the frame. I put one hand on the kickstarter and one hand on the gear shifter and I can hold it out in front of me for.... well, can't exactly hold is straight out, lol, but its surprisingly light for an engine! That thing can't weigh more than 50lbs it seems.

So, I took the jug off the 230 and the 250 4wd and put the 230 jug on the 4wd just to see and the piston popped out the top. LMAO! Back to the drawing board on that idea. I'm thinking now just bore the 250 jug to match the 230 piston and get the BB kit for the 230 like I originally wanted to do.

That 250 could be made into a mean little b!tch with some milling on the jug. There is almost a half inch that the piston doesn't come to the top. Could get 12 or 13:1 compression probably. If yer a diehard 230 fan and you like to ride a ute every now-n-then, I definitely recommend a 250 quadrunner 4x4.

Hey Gforce, ask Vince about balancing the crank to the BB kit. I held the 66mm piston in one hand and the 67.5mm wiseco in my other hand and there is a BIG weight difference. (btw, all this time I thought I was 80 over, nope... 60). I imagine the 70mm piston will feel like a chunk of lead compared to the stock piston. Somebody, somewhere will need to add some weight to the crank for it to balance out right or the engine will buck like a branded bull (like PG said his did). No wonder I couldn't keep the engine mounts tight.
