Have you ever noticed the difference between 3rd n 4th? In the mountains, I'm always either reving 3rd out or boggin 4th. Can't seem to find a medium. So, changing 4th is a step closer to 3rd. I guess you would say that is shorter??? Its not a huge difference, 19/24 (250) and 22/27 (230), but hopefully it helps and I'm going to split the cases anyway so.....

14's are tough to find, at least for me, I had to do some calling around before I found a 14. What I really wanted was a 38 for the back instead of a 39, but that's like $70 I think, or more, and it might even be aluminum (a no no).

I think you are right about his major, my kid is trying to find out as we speak.
This is so cool. My 9yr daughter has been studying MMA for about 1 1/2yrs now. It is a karate school that doesn't preach just one type (like most). Every belt promotion cycle they have a lil "quiz" on what style they have been practicing. This cycle just happens to be Jeet Kune Do!! They give them "facts" to memorize, etc. Long story short, when they started this cycle and asked if anyone knew what JKD was, my kid raises her hand and procedes to "school" the dojo! Everybody is very impressed (especially me, proud Papa). The best part was when she told everyone that unlike the judo, jujitsu, karate, etc, "we can't be taught Jeet Kune Do, we have to BE Jeet Kune Do"

I cried...

I'm pretty sure he was a philosophy major when he met Linda Caldwell (forgot the university). That's why his book is so,,,, philosophy oriented.
