to answer BigMc's ? about hubs, i think the 115/4 hubs from a Banshee will work. i think blasters might be the same too but not positive about that.

had the ol' 230 out for a ride a couple wks ago. ran great, just gotta dial in suspension.

I was just wondering if i could check with anyone here if any of you guys got any brake system parts for the 230, i think mine are toast or does anyone know what other brake systems will work with this machine. !! Also does anyone have a busted up swing arm, i need to find one that i can use to weld up an extended one. Thanks for your help!!

Good jod MalHombre.
I was thinking of the warrior hubs, but your right on the money.
The 4/115 bolt pattern hub of the 87 to 2004 warrior has the same spline count as the 230. If you have a set of these, you can use any wheel ( oem or after market ) that fits a warrior, banshee or blaster. You just need to pay attention to the offset.

Default 85 to 88 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport help.

Hello everybody.

So I am a new owner of a 1988 LT230. I checked the paperwork for the quad and that is all it says. Does any body know much more about this year?
At first i just wanted to ride it till it died but looking here at the forum pictures hey they look real nice fixed up so i changed my mind. Over the winter i wont be working on my car that much so i think this could be a good winter project. This year the only thing i am worried about is the mechanics of the quad. any tunning will be done later. when i start the rebuild what is the most important thing i should watch out for? It seems that after reading this entire thread the first thing i should get replaced are the bushing and bearing for the complete suspension? if so is there a complete kit for the front and back? thanks for any help and remember this is only the beginning of the question.

PS i live in Germany so the only place i can order is online.

PSS i also need a new rear brake caliper (i think that i how you spell it) the one that was on it is chewed.

Yes new valves were installed. Why would the valves affect it? It seems as though the crankcase is getting sucked dry. The quad goes through all the oil in the crankcase in about an hour and a half?????? any suggestions.
