You just have to play around with them for a while. Quit readin stuff and just do your own experiments n see what works n what don't.

The digger is going. Finally. And let me tell ya.... IT DIGS! Like a hot knife thru butter! The dirt doesn't even slow it down any. I can see why they say it will go thru 4 inch roots. About 5 or 6 shovels full is close to 1000lbs. Trucking the dirt now is the hard part.

Too cool! Digging the pond, garden, trails, what?
How do ya move that thing? Does it hook up to the truck?

How much does the bucket hold? cubic feet wise?

Sorry, just re-read the 5-6 buckets full thing again, I can do the math, duh

Well, first I have to haul dirt to the building I just put up to level out the floor n that. Once the building is done, the pond is next. If hauling dirt wasn't so hard and time consuming, the pond could be a weekend project considering how fast this thing digs.

There's 3 ways to move it. 1) It moves itself like a crab.... SLOW! About 10 feet a minute I'd say. 2) Put the bucket in a trailer and pull it around with the quad kinda like a 5th wheel trailer. That's about the easiest and fastest way. 3) Switch the wheels and stabilizers around and hook it to the trailer ball and pull it down the road. The tires are street legal, so it works just like a cement mixer in tow as far as the law is concerned.

I'm not sure about the cu ft of the bucket. I can find out though. But it holds a lot more than just the volume of the bucket. It piles up and overflows.... As soon as I get done eatin, I'll go measure it.

I know its easier to pull the trailer and the digger than it is to pull the trailer with 5 or 6 good shovel loads! They say the digger weighs 1500lbs, but it has its own wheels too so that might make it easier to pull than a trailer load of dirt.

Ok, its 18x18x9... Give or take for some angles n that. I'd say about 2 cu ft max each heaping scoop.
