Going on a 3 day boys only riding/drinking/shooting-fest next weekend to a place called moon rocks Nevada! Gonna take both bikes.. This will be the first endurance test of the turd! My friends says the are so many cotton tails, we don't even have to pack food with us. What was the old saying about shooting rabbits in certain months??

Just thought you needed a little distraction from the 3rd grader, on the other posts!

They say not to eat rabbit in the summer because of the wolf worm. If you type in wolf worm in google you'll get so many theories you'll be more confused than when you started. One theory is a fly lays an egg on a blade of grass and waits out the be eaten. Once eaten it gets under the skin and feeds until it turns into a fly. The other theory goes that the fly lays the eggs on a wound and the worms hatch and burrow. I don't know, but I've had a couple hunters tell me not to eat rabbit out of season. How do you know if its the right season???? I guess if its too cold for flys to fly around and reproduce, its probably a good time to eat rabbit. Otherwise, who knows for sure.

The wolf worm is a bot fly. I know that much for sure. If you get one, there will be a breathing hole on the skin for the worm to get air. Cover the hole with jelly and the worm will come out and grab it with tweezers. Don't kill it inside the skin though. It will cause infection.

Happy hunting! LOL Otherwise, it sounds like an awsome vacation. I wish my local friends were more into that kinda thing.... They so whipped, the ole ladies run the show and we either end up in my backyard or at an "approved" campsite. Then they whine the whole time about being cold or whatever.

The cool thing is, we do just as many family trips! My wife has been complaining about the fact just she and I haven't been riding! If you you find a good woman, keep her!

It'll be 45 degrees where we are going, so the bunnies should be yummy!

Ever see one of those bot fly videos on the net?? YUCK!!!!!!!!!!! I guess Costa Rica is famous for em! I still want to go there, I must be nuts!

Just don't get mixed up with the screw worm! Those will eat you alive. There is a factory in S. America that manufactures sterile flys in a effort to eliminate those types of worms. They kill too many cows.

Yeah, the 300's have 32's. The 250's don't though. http://powersports.honda.com/a...2008&ModelId=TRX300EX8
