Bikebandit is where I usually get them. I'm sure there's cheaper places, but they price match. If you can hold off for a couple weeks I'll have the 32mm running and see if its better than the 28mm or not. Right now, I've only run the 26 and 28. The 28 is a LOT better than the stock 26. A couple of guys that used to post here said they had good results with the 32, but they never compared it to a 28. Anyway, its up to you if you want to wait or not.

If you get the TM28 from bikebandit, of course it comes with all the wrong jets. It took me months of beating my head against a wall to find the right jetting. I'm at 700ft altitude and I'm running a KN filter with no lid and a low backpressure exhaust. What works for me is a 10 pilot, 5L1 needle, and something bigger than a 250 main, but smaller than a 300 (I'm guessing a 270 or 280). I'll have the 32 specs in a couple weeks.

Damn Bri, you sure know how to lay on the paint! No runs, fish eyes, etc.... Looks good. Mastering the art of photography too I see.

I'm not sure 1.4 + 1.4 ounces is anything to get excited about on the hubs. I thought about grinding on mine to reduce some weight, but probably is not that big of a deal. Grinding on the tires would make more sense.

Wow, I never would have guessed aluminum rims weighed 5 lbs! Those must be some beefy rims! When the ups guy delivered mine, I thought the box was empty! But I got the .160 thickness too.

Do you like the white on chrome look? I painted my hubs black on the outside and white on the inside. I'm not sure I like the white against the chrome. Don't know why. I think its not enough contrast.... What do you think?

Well, went on the maiden voyage today. I think I nailed the shock settings. I can run over a pallet and not feel a thing until the back wheels hit it. It hangs curves pretty well, but the back is a bit light. I'm thinking 4 inches on the swingarm might have been too much. If this was a 450, I'd probably never be able to keep it on the trail. But, its loads of fun to ride! I also haven't been able to get the front off the ground more than a foot. Yanking my arms outta socket trying.

My original idea was to extend the front and NOT the swingarm. Looks like I was right to start with. Vince also agreed with me and said that was the warrior's problem.... The engine is too far forward.

Another thing is the 250S engine is a lot heavier than the 230 engine. It weighs in at 65lbs! I'm guessing the 230 is around 50 lbs. Anyway could you weigh the 230 engine Bri?

I would have extended the front a long time ago if I could have figured out how to make the plastics look right. I don't know, I've only riden it a few times.... One good run on the mountains will tell what needs to be done!

Oh, btw, I was puttin along at 2 mph and a stick popped up and knocked my chain off. Boy I was PISSED!!!!! ALL that work I did to make sure the swingarm is tight, the sprockets are dead on lined up, the chain tensioner is right, etc... and the damn chain STILL pops off!?!?!? Only happened that one time though coz of that stick, but I'm going to get one of those chain guides that feeds the chain right into the back sprocket. If I don't, I swear I'll throw this quad off the mountain the first time it pops on me up there!

Oh, btw again, I put a scale under last night. It weighs 170 in back and 160 in front for a total of 330lbs. That's 15 lbs more than before. I'm guessing the engine is most of that weight.

Yeah, the economy sucks and jobs are hard to find right now. Hopefully next year will be better. The ceo of Hovnanian said his analysts are telling him that when the housing market does pick up, it will be nothing like the world has ever seen before. That being said, he has no idea when it will actually pick up.

Randy dude maiden voyages on the same day, I raced the moto 4 around the lot at 8:15 this morning after another all nighter here. This thing has the best turning radius I have ever seen. And everything is as tight as a brand spankin knew quad. All I have left is fine tuning and to put that skid hitch and rear rack on. Turns out this is a clutchless 5 speed, I thought three for some reason.

OBrien send me a zip code and I will post you a total price for both (cheap I promise), I just want to see if it is cheaper to send them seperate and all that jazz. I still have to spin off the dunlop rubber.

I will get some pics of the moto 4 on the floor. first time she's been on her own feet since feb.

oh the white paint on chrome, I agree YUCK. I use white as a primer first coat only, It makes the second coat with real color easy to make nice and uniform. this moto4 got aluminum rims painted over white. These never made it to a final color stage in my shop. oh and Thanks for the paint compliment. just practice like welding I guess.
