That you can outrun the outty. I've never seen one, but they made them look pretty bad on those old latenite tv ads. Rotax engine n all that superior engineering n all.

Its seems to me it would be cheaper on suzuki to just make long rods than to reengineer the knuckle and the stem. I don't know why they would go thru all that trouble unless there was a big problem. And yet they won't fix the caster issue on the 700/750 king quad????? Now that's a big problem!

The motor is amazing, its just not super quick. The tranny on it is horrid though. I wouldn't buy another Can-am though. Too many little nuances with them.

yeah it does seem weird. Here's the listing on eBay, it seems pretty clear that its off a 250S. And they look like the ones I got.

Well the tranny is my biggest peave. I've heard its better on the bigger ones but for ours its impossible to get it into gear. You have to rock it around, rev it and all sorts of stuff to get the lever to move to pop it into gear. And you can hardly hear the motor over the whine of the belt. Its been like that since it was new.

The brakes wear amazingly fast on it. And I am very light on the brakes.

The intake for the tranny has a rubber tube that is hose clamped between two plastic tubes and the rubber loves to slide off and let the tranny take a big old drink.

The battery is super hard to get in and out.

And if its really humid out, our speedo viewing glass fogs up.

So its just kind of a lot of little things that bug me on it.

I also don't like the single lever braking, or the 4x4 on it. Visco-Lock is nice and it works great, but I'd rather choose when to put diff lock on and stuff.

For my first utility quad, (my dad owns the Outty and the Hawkeye, I just advised him on them) I would probably give the KQ a strong look. I've had a lot of luck with Suzukis (The Ozark has been amazing).

But to be honest, none of them really seem perfect to me. So hopefully by the time I can afford one, there will be one I'm dieing for.
