FMFs are great pipes. My friend has one on a warrior.

Did you pay for the tie rods with paypal? Just file a complaint and you'll get a refund. If not, then do a chargeback on your credit card. Buyers have all the rights on ebay. Sellers have none. Maybe you should hold off on feedback until you've resolved it. He may willingly refund your money unless you **** him off with bad feedback.</end quote></div>

Yeah, he's a store, so he has a phone number that is getting a ring tomorrow.</end quote></div>

The only thing I can figure is he'll say he sent out the wrong ones by mistake or else he'll claim they came off a 89 250s just like the ad said. Hopefully he sent out the wrong ones and will send the right ones immediately.

Of course, I've heard of guys saying it was just a big box of parts labeled 89 250s parts. But if that's the case, he should have said something on the ad to imply he wasn't 100% sure what they are.

Glad you got the 4th arm. How did you get him to sell just one? Wonder what will become of the other 3?

Thanks man, I'll see what kind of luck I have with my guy tomorrow, and maybe I'll just try to send them back for my money since these ones are $15 cheaper anyways.

I think I found a machinist. Turns out one of our sponsors for the sheet race car is a sheet metal guy who used to be a machinest and still has a lathe and mill. SO when we go see him to get out fuel cell cage redone, I will take some measurements with and see if is willing to help a guy out.</end quote></div>

What kind of race car?</end quote></div>

It is just a left hander, circle tracker. Limited late model class.</end quote></div>

How far do you guys travel? Or do you just have a local track?</end quote></div>

We just race one local track, Oregon, WI it is south of Madison. Same track, and class that Kenseth's kid is in.

Anybody know the size of the axle wrench I would need for the 230? I am having trouble with some axle nuts. I have one side off but the sprocket side wil not budge with the pipe wrenches.</end quote></div>

I have a big cresent wrench for that. I don't know the size though. I remember having to beat it with a big hammer for a while to get it loose. Its slow go.</end quote></div>

My big Crescent does not go large enough and it is a 1 1/2 incher! Rocky Mountain lists some for the 250R at 46mm but they want about $30 for them. I thought they had the same axle nuts but am not posotive. I thought that those were somewhat standard even back then?

I wonder if a fan clutch wrench for my truck would fit? local auto parts store rents those for free. I will have to look into that.

Autozone should have big crescent wrenches for rent too. You could also buy one from sears and return it. Mine goes plenty big enough for those nuts and I think I got it from biglots a long time ago.

The best investment in hand tools I've ever made was the BIG channel locks from sears. $30 or so, but its big enough to go round a 2-liter bottle. That's what I use to tighten my chain since I have the 85-86 eccentric carrier. I'd like to have a set of vice-grips that big!

Pipe wrenches suck for anything but pipes.

I used a pipe wrench on the disc brake sie and it worked really well believe it or not. I used a large breaker bar on the hub nut to keep the axle from spinning.
