I got mine from bikebandit. You'll also need the 5L1 needle and a selection of jets and wire-guage drill bits to drill the jets to the right size.

Many parts are interchangeable... Some parts, like the axle-carrier from the 85-86 will not fit the 87-88 style. What parts did you have in mind?

Well, kinda seems like that mini bike would stay a minibike for a while if I get it, haha! Rough sum of all the parts to make it a trike add up to around $400! Thats including the $189 torque converter though. So I guess its not too bad, but its still bad enough!</end quote></div>

I'd just buy a trike. They should be pretty cheap these days for a 110 or something.

Only fabricate if you're doing something cool.... Like a 350 v8!</end quote></div>

Yeah I found a few 3 wheelers, but I'm just trying to get something purely via trading. I don't want to be dishing out cash. This guy just happened to want what I had.

He hasn't gotten back to me though, but hopefully he will.

There's a guy here giving away some kind of trike for free. I don't know the guy or I'd go get it. My buddy knows him, but is lazy or something. I'd fix it and ride it around.... Or make a 4x6 with 2 engines.

haha, sounds like a good time. I don't get why people don't pounce on great deals like that. My uncle has been looking for a four wheeler forever and when I find him the deal of a lifetime, he waits or is slow to call the guy and it sells! Like this week I found a 1994 Polaris Sportsman 400 4x4 with a gummed up carb for $500 and he still hasn't called! All the other ones similar to it are like $2500 or so! Oh well.

So this might be a little much to ask, but I'm going riding this weekend and I want to make a case saver before I go. I'll try the cutting board idea. So could someone possibly post up some drawings with dimensions for me so I could make it before I get home?

Kind of a tall order so if you can't or don't have time, don't worry about it.

It might even be easier to trace it onto paper, scan it, and keep it at a 1:1 scale then I'll just trace it onto a cutting board.

Not sure I'd be all that anxious to call about a polaris either.

I'll see if I have one that is on the shelf and not on the quad.

I have one, but my scanner hasn't been working under winxp. I was trying to scan stuff yesterday and ended up having to boot under win98 to get it done. So, I'm trying to figure out what the problem is. It used to work just fine, but the goofy cats get up there and start pushing buttons and my firewall freaks out and who knows what gets deleted/denied.
