Neutral light switch?

 

oh.... so you dont know that for sure? someone made a plate to block it off on mine and it leaks oil like insane

 

I don't have a 230E, so I don't know for sure. My guess is the neutral light switch. Does your neutral light work?

yea i know eh?, theyre going for 3 grand here so i figured i better grab it. rebuild it either keep it for myself or sell it, we'll see how hard it is for me to part with it lol

 

no the light doesnt work but i think your right cuz it has a "dial" in it that turns when you shift. what i found out though is the bolt holes on either side are stripped out so the bolts slid out..... crap. ill probably drill and tap bigger holes. im slowly starting to realize the previous owner of my quad was a moron

 

Yeah no kidding! Worst comes to worst you sell it as parts and make back twice what you paid!

 

He probably took the switch out to get the quad to start in any gear and not have to be in neutral. The bolt holes got stripped from trying to stop the oil leak... probably.
