Nah, I'm not super interested in an extended swinger. I've got a few other projects I would want to tackle before that. This is the first wheeler I've had that can readily pop wheelies too, and I like it. lol So maybe someday, but not yet.

Is your swinger extended?

You can still do wheelies with 13/39, right? I'm sure you can considering that I can now while rolling in 2nd gear, without even touching the clutch!

My swing arm is not extended yet. I want to extend it for when i widen the arms and rear end. I would like to widen the machine 2-3" per side, and legnthen it to get the length to width Similar to my 450. I will not make it 48" wide though.

Cool, when are you going to try to tackle that project?

Undecided, I can do the swing arm and a-arms with out taking my quad out of commission since I have extra parts. I would like to wait until i move before I get into setting things up and cutting and fabbing so i do not have to move in the middle of that type of project. I was supposed to move back in december but my buyer's divorce has been dragging! anyways once the swing arm is lengthend I will put it on the quad, then work on the arms. When those go on, I will get some wheel spacers, and hopefully over the next winter it can all be torn down and the head, piston, cam, carb stuff can be done. I have been planning this for a long time and am really itching to get after it. Hopefully it happens sooner than later.

Just comitted to buy another 230 today.....I hope to give it to my future brother-in-law. I traded the guy my sub and $200 for it and he said it ran last year when he put it away. He didn't bother to shut off the gas though so I'm sure its just gummed up is all. He said he has the rear fender too.

And its not stolen! I love good deals!

Looks like it has a decent exhaust on it as well.
