Default clutch kit

Ordered a clutch kit for my 87 230 quadrunner. How difficult is it to remove and repair the centrifugal clutch? Just want to have an idea of what im gettin into. I have the factory manual and the clymer manual. Anything to watch out for or is it pretty straight forward? Thanx!

replacement...clutch is slow to engage in lower rpm's,especially 1st and 2nd gear. the kit is a barnett kit with 6 springs 6 kevlar friction plates and 5 tempered steel plates.

Let me know how much work it is. We have an 02 Ozark that's in dire need of a new clutch. Its lost all of its pep!

Do they make a full skid plate for the 230? I'm thinking of making one up that will attach to the top bar of the bumper, and extend down to the factory pan under the engine, or perhaps even cover that and extend all the way to the back.
