right from the factory, a ttb ranger/bronco II is definitely one of the most capable off road vehicles for the money (on par with any stock jeep or samurai, and far more practical/usable in the case of the ranger).

I put my ranger right next to my buddy's jeep and I think it was like 16-18 inches longer at the wheelbase, which translates into a much better ride on the trail. I dont get thrown around nearly as much. The jeep is too boxy, I hate that. The width is exactly the same. So anywhere he can go, I can go... Plus I can carry my quad in the back.

5-speed stick with 2.5:1 transfer case and manual locking hubs. It crawls slow enough for anything I'm brave enough to do and with the overdrive tranny I hardly ever use 5th gear. I do want to get a lockrite (about $300) for the front axle though. I think I'll leave the back open or get an ox-lock or arb locker (high dollar there).

I'm kinda proud of my idea of hiding the winch behind the bumper, lol, so I thought I'd post some pics. Don't have much, just what I took with my cell...

I tested it by locking all 4 wheels and hooking to a tree with the cable. It easily dragged the truck across the yard.

no no no, not Ji-m-m-y, Ji-m-N-y, as in the cricket from Pinochio (or however you spell it)!

That $875 Samurai sold already. That was quick. Time to browse the other regions.....

That $1600 one is still up though....maybe I can get him to bite yet. How hard is it to re-gear that one if it is too low? Or is that even a possibility short of swapping out tons of parts?

BTW, what's a virtual lift? Is that just a body lift?

This is the cleanest LT250S I've ever seen.

Its not too bad I guess. I've done a 9-inch, dana 44, and 14-bolt. It just takes time is all. You would have to do both axles though... Hmmm... Wonder if both axles are the same now? lol
