The Eiger is a nice atv I almost bought one I know several people who have them and they take a beating. I also know a few guys who have Bruins nice quad also.
The only real diff. I see between them is: The Bruin has 25cc less, weights a bit less, no Low Range, but has adjustable shocks.
I personally like the Low Range option very handy when hauling heavy loads and going down steep inclines sometimes I have to give it gas to get moving because the engine breaking is so strong in 4x4 Low. I haven't seen the Eiger and Bruin race but I can't see it being as fast as the eiger because of the single range tranny. I like adjustable shocks too.
Which ever you decide will be fine I'm sure just my 2 cents. My father got a 450 Kodiak a few weeks back another nice quad.

eiger, get a noncurrent ,you should save big dollars, might have to look around and possibly travel to pick up, saved around $1500 on mine....

 

Whats a non curent ? how much was your qaud total out the door is it a 4x4 ?

 

a new quad that didnt sell in its new model year, i bought a 2005 after the 2006's came out ,saved 1500 and as it was an out of state purchase also didnt pay any sales tax[im in illinois,bought quad in missouri] 2005 no different than the 2006 . 3750 total ,manual 4wd.......

 

There like 5,500 here in california thats the 05, im talking about the eiger ? why is that and is nevada cheaper ??

 

I have two Eigers, had a little idle issue/coldbloodedness with mine a couple months ago, but that was easily fixed by the dealer. Love them to death. Bought them in March of last year, $5100ea. Looked at the Bruin, but the Eiger is just so much more machine for the money when you get down to it (u get dual range subtrans, speedo, bigger engine, more comfortable seat, and the heavier weight makes it ride smoother IMO).
