ltz50 quad no power

CDI was the best bang for the buck by far rember you can always limit top RPM with throttle stop rollers out with shoes lightened quad dos'nt move till part throttle gives him a little hole shot and keeps motor in the power band still want to play with driven clutch's main spring {lighten up little} see if I can keep it in the band at the RPM he likes riding at {WFO--LOL} then I'll play with my sprockets. right now hes catching 1-11/2 foot air on 15-20ft table tops

My problem with using the screw on the thumb throttle is that it doesn't ever allow for wide open when you're starting off. And that's where the power is needed for his style of riding.
I noticed that you have a Roo 232. We have a Roo 23B. It's been a good camper for us. I went to lowes and bought foil faced bubble wrap insulation. I made bunk covers for it and it really keeps the bunks cooler. I taped it together with foil heating and air tape. Real duct tape.

Just melt away after agood days riding. Waiting on DVD wiring harness factory forgot to install, out side shower, the works. Was checking out the WOLF PACK I liked that one but the WIFE says boys out having fun she wants comfort-----SHE WON----

almost forgot new CDI min. 3,000 RPM increase you could set throttle stop 500-1,000 higher than stock and give him more throttle on take off. thats why I'm playing with clutch now acts like a stall convertor bike does'nt move till part throttle {small rooster tail} launches alot better

system. I'm not modding anything else on this bike.
The Suzuki LT - Z50 is for the most part an unresponsive chunk of junk - but my kids love it</end quote></div>
The biggest thing we need to rember and I am quilty as everyone else, is these bike were not made for what we are wanting them to do. They are a yard big to teach youngsters on not race bikes,or trail bike and not even sand dune bikes.

You are very correct. I also am guilty of doing everything the factory did not want us to do. But it sure was a lot of fun. I don't regret it at all. I am looking for a race bike now though.

Now that being said what is the most miles you/or your kids ever put on the LTZ 50 in a day?
A group(12) of us went to Hatfield over the 4th little guy included and rode 138 miles in 2.5 days. I don't think that is bad for a 6 year old. Do you? The oldest guy in the group wouldn't go back out with us on Sunday morning he stayed at the bus and waited for the rest of us to get back.
The bike ran flawless almost. He was averaging about 90% of the mud puddles the only ones he missed was becasue he was aiming for bigger ones. The belt did start to slip so he had some hills that he needed a push on but it would dry out after a little bit and go again till the next series of puddles.

My son is 5. He has not gone that many miles. After about an hour, his thumb gets tired. We have been trying to just let him race it to get used to the tracks before we step up to the race quads.
How long are those belts supposed to last?
Does anyone want to get rid of a 43T sprocket?

Okay guys - I wrote that in the heat of the moment. My kids would have had fun with this thing if I hadn't done anything to it. We had fun doing the mods, and I don't regret any of it. However my list of things to do is complete. It'll be just right for when my three year old girl starts to learn, and the other two can share a 90 cc.
