Open a cold 1 you're almost done.

use rubber hammer too firmly knock outter case back in place before screwing it tight "also when removing this casing you can remove the pull start first it will help when shaking loose this outter case

"Your done!!!" quad back in the garage...This job should take no more than 1hour .. Well worth the torque

For those of you who knew what the hell you were doing this is how you explain something...... Roller removal gift wrap!!!!!!!!!!

Nice pictures I would have given you some picture but I never got the camera to work with this new computer. Just a couple of questions for you.
1 Did you take all the plastic off for this job or did you have it off for something else?

2 Did you remove the clutch spacer why you was in there?

tlronny,
High end power is the same the cdi box is still going to limit the revs.. at the same point but i'll see this weekend when the baby rides it..
But low end torque wow.. I tried to hold the bike back while giving it full throttle; and she pulls!!!
side effects, only that the bike will be more fun to ride

KINGQUAD450,
1) Yea i took off all the plastic for this job only 6 screws and 4 clips the body comes off in 1 piece...

2) The dealer charged me $98 bucks to remove that spacer ****, when i first bought the bike. Thats why i didn't know what to look for.. If i would have known this was so easy i would have done it myself from the begining. But i still have the spacer i can post a picture of it so anyone doing this job can remove the spacer at the same time....

Really no need to remove ALL of the plastic. Just take off the left side cover and unbolt the footpeg.

Why are they there in the first place then if torque is so much better if the weight is halved ?
