You can search eBay, or go to Dennis Kirk

Both of your problems seem like they could be fixed with a carb tuning, so what I'd do if I were you is take it to my dealer, spend a $100 bucks or so and have them adjust it. Then you'll be good to go for summer.
atvman, ABSOLOUTLEY!

blasters are CHEAP CRAP! just look at the cable actuated brakes!!! haha wtf is this, 1975??? my friend has a BUILT blaster, and my 230 has no problem keeping up with it, and still keeps it off in a drag until the blaster hits 6th.

blasters also handle like shopping carts full of immigrants. the stock shocks are just as bad, and blasters actually have quite a bit less travel, too.

there is no good reason to replace a 230 for a blaster, no reason whatsoever.

if you have 1250 to spend, you could easily build that 230 to be quite a respectable machine.

For reference, here's what $900 bucks can do:

Thanks man! Most people don't like them but I think they look awesome! There's a set of stock ones on eBay, but in the pics, they look kind rough.

well most of the people that dont like the way they look fail to realize that the 230 is one serious piece of offroad history, and the wheels are time period correct.

you might as well go all the way to .80 over, that will make it more worthwhile and give you a noticeable power increase.

And if you want to get serious, Fourstroketech and Kustom Kraft both sell 260cc big bore kits.

you gotta pull the cylinder and head, then mail the cylinder with a new, bigger piston (about $100) to a company to have it machined bigger (usually under $100). then re-assemble with the bigger piston. you will also need new gaskets (about $30)
