the plate im talkin about is number 23. thanks for any input
I don't know much about the centrifugal style slip clutches, but most are 7-9lbs of torque.

I had thought about that before, I'm big on tie-die. I'm thinking about my lt250R and what to paint it (it's up next after the CR80) probably white with a red stripe down the middle (seat, tank top, steering cover, radiator grill, grab bar) and engine on a blue frame. I will try it first on the CR80.

That project looks sick. The bike should be great. I just picked up an lt250s engine cheap on ebay, so I should be installing that in about a week and a half. I had won a big bore kit on ebay for the lt250s and I was going to do that project, but the seller lied about it and it had tons of rust in the bore, he claimed it was dirt. But that thing should be sick. I might strip my frame since I have the engine out anyway. What kind of paint did you use for the frame. I also have an lt230s.

hard part is all the vinyl that i'll have to cut for the plastics, then taking a pic of the frame and doing a test drawing to see where all the colors interact on the frame.

Thumbs up

It was a lot more work then it looks like at first, I used Plastikote engine enamel, it's really good stuff.

Keep me updated on that tie-die paint job if you can pull it off I will give it an attempt.

right now i am currently working on the drawing. then i have to track down the colors. I have a Greatful Dead shirt that i am trying to model the paint scheme after. Tie-dying shirts may be somewhat easy but trying to get a paint job and vinyl to match its even close is a trip to say the least.

Keep me posted! I'm a deadhead

^PS the red and white quad is not mine, just a template for a color scheme.
