I do a lot of trail riding and wasn't willing to sacrifice the clearance of my quad by putting one of the big seats/trunks on the back. I bought a fat max tool box that is big enough to haul a 2 gallon gas can, a cooler, all my winching tools/tow straps, and a shirt or two. I have $35 total in the box and gas can and still have plenty of clearance and a few extra bucks in my wallet! This might not be at all what you are looking for, but it fits my needs very well.

We bought the same fat max one as that and it works great....water tight too

After doing some web searching, I decided on the Tamarack front box (I have a Cat TRV so I have just the front rack).

My luck....Tamarack HAS CLOSED THEIR BUSINESS!

Any other suggestions for a sturdy front mount box?

Well, I finally got sick of all the shortcomings of the Tamarack Titan and bought a Kimpex trunk with the top rails. I think I'll have this one for a while. It opens from the back, all of the space is useable (even inside of the lid), it is lockable, and with a little weather stripping, it is watertight. Plus it is really thick and solid.
