Try Templeton up north by Fitchburg (RTE 2). It's pretty good, alot of various stuff, sandpits, lotta trails.I'll ask my freind what exit we get off at and get back to you. You can also look at neatva club (through the links). They go to alot of state parks out west. How is the riding in framingham, I am doing work at the Cameron middle school out there.

Thanks for the reply. I actually work in Framingham so I'm not familiar with any riding in that area. I'm from Billerica which just passed a by-law forbidding any off road vehicles from riding anywhere other than your own property
There weren't a whole lot of riding places to begin with, but the places you could ride weren't bad. So, I'm looking for alternatives as I've just bought two quads (go figure). But, if you could get that info, that would be great. Look forward to hearing from ya...thanks

I found out the info you needed.I dont know how you would want to go towards templeton but sooner or later you'll end up on rte 2. Get off the second Templeton exit (I think it's #21) from there you can pretty much see the trail openings and there's a gas station right there to.

How about parking? I mean is there an obvious place for the tow vehicles to park? And are ATVs authorized to ride there, or do I just take my chances?

I apologize for the silly questions, but I'm hearing nightmares of stories about people getting their ATVs, dirtbikes, and whatever else towed by the police....

Go to: http://www.state.ma.us/dfwele/dpt_toc.htm
and choose "Licencing Sport" it has all the phone numbers. I don't think their "registering via interet" site is up yet; but you should be able to do it via the phone and snailmail. I hope this helps...

You can also go to the DMV (dept of motor vehicles) in Springfield Mass to register your quad. I dont know the exact fees involved but.... I do know that you will need some proof of ownership (bill of sale or title)

good luck
