It's a Hare scramble both days it will start on the MX track and into the east end of the park....I have some buddies racing out there on Sunday.. there will be some racing on saturday as well. There are a few of us going to Hollister Saturday.
Thanks for the heads up Teebone, I really appreciate it.

RD, I think I am going to bail on carnegie for this weekend. With only 1/2 the park open its gonna be way too crowded for my tastes. Maybe the next weekend.

I go to pismo once a year in july, weekend after the 4th. When I leave my house in the valley it is usually 100+deg. Get to pismo that night and need a sweat shirt. Love it. I would guess about 65 deg. in the day time.

Welcome to the forum 22bomb650, I have riden at clear creek many times. Always on a motorcycle though. Very hilly and technical terrain. I only ride there if it is wet so this weekend will be good. I know there is a lot of roads in the area and some 5' wide roads.I just never went there looking for quad trails. So I really cant tell you any places to go. There should be maps of the area available at one of those info center stands.

We go to Pismo 4-6 times a year And have made Thanksgiving and Christmas an annual trip Go once or twice during the summer. Try to stay away during April/early May. Like B&R said, may as well stand in a sand blaster

And,,,,,,it is a nice change from the valley heat

Once a year wether I need it or not. I am basically a woods rider, love trails. The nastier the better for me. I usually dont ride much from june thru aug. just to hot, dry, dusty and dangerous for me. Pismo mid july gets me on the bike and gets the wife camping on the beach. It is a win win for us. And as a bonus the temp drops 40 degrees.
