F-that! We are still going! ITs going to be a wet and muddy time but I have snowboard pants and jacket if it gets really bad. My uncle is planning to leave with the hauler and family around 3-4pm. I dont get off till 5pm and will probably start heading up there around 7pm. We are going to stay till sunday or monday. I dont think he is going to bring his 2 dogs but my 2 cousins are going...lol
Im sure we will have fun even in the rain/mud. We have done it before at el mirage and it was a blast

Ever been to Fouts Spring's? It is just past stonyford, I 5 north to maxwell, just past 20, head west. I have always thought it would be perfect for quads, very wide open trails. Some single track, always thought that is where dirt bikes belong, not much though. imo they hold the easiest enduro of the year there.

Mywifesquad- Yeah the KTM boys love the single track, to be sure....That's all they talk about....But the KTM boys are bringing wifes and girfriends this time, and kids, so they will be staying on the wide roads this trip...
Usually the KTM boys ride with us quads.....until they decide they need a more "MANLY" ride, and then go off and get lost....
Check this out, last year out in Nevada, after 45 miles one way with the quads, they decide to break away from the group, who smartly turned around due to gas concerns.....and promptly got lost in the hills, in the rain and the mud, and every single one of them. A couple hours after dark, we left camp with truck and gas cans, and I swear to god, we found every one of them walking back to camp in the dark, shivering, and alone...except one guy, who had given up, and laid down to die!@ but we rescued his *** too.....he's the only one we didn't make ride back!
Stupid bastards broke all the rules of riding........left each other, didn't plan their gas right, didn't take enough supplies....etc......

I hear you about stupid people breaking the rules It comes in all facets of life Hence the nameNo matter how many times you tell them, they continue to break the rules I have a brother, who continually does it One day, he'll be wishing he didn't.

Glad to hear that about the ktm boys, would be a shame to see such a fine piece of machinery go to waste. I used to ride the rubicon trail twice a year, about 4-5hrs round trip on a bike, 3 1/2 if you hauled. Anyway, one year I dont go and the usual group goes to a place called hell hole, never been there my self . They go in too deep, and on the way out are lifting bikes up small ledges, decide no way getting out in time . So they send the A riders to camp alone to tell all family problemm and they dont even make it back in time. Each group spent the nite in the woods. I have been carrying a lighter, flash lite, protien bars and a space blanket ever since. saw your bio, I started on a no name mini bike at 11, 2hp briggs, no suspension, did have 6" wheels and a rear drum break though. Big fun back then, never could stop as you can see. LOL
