It was indeed a pleasure to ride with you on the 4/8 Scrub Run from Carney, MI to Faithorn and back. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

That was quite a bargain, $5.00 registration which included a hat and a top-off of gasoline at the half way point. And the lunch, only $2.00 for a hamburger beans and slaw!!!!

I was finally able to get all of the marsh grass and mud off of my machine yesterday. There were definitely some wicked (and entertaining) mud holes there along the powerline. I wish that I would have had a video camera.

Odin checked out the Richards Motel in Dunbar and picked up a couple of trail maps of the Marinette County area. The lady at the hotel said that the trails were closed for the month of April, for recovery purposes. But you couldn't prove that by the amount of machines we saw out and about in that area.

That motel is $40 for a double and 4 guys to a room is $55. We did not check out the motel at the intersection of US 8 and 141 in Beecher. Perhaps it is more reasonable.
