See, that's why you should have got the most verocious quad on the planet...the Raptor. LOL

No, I have raced a piped V and never had a problem. Not saying they are a bad quad, but they are very bulky, and the seat is very wide.

yes, a stk v run's 6.2-6.3 sec in 300. I can't remember for sure but I think with duals on a real well tuned and clutched V it just gets into the high 5 sec range. A stk Raptor runs about 6.2- 6.3 as well but responds much better to exhaust and other mods (there's the 150lbs coming into play again) LOL

My stock rappy ran a 6.08 - best time.....

My rappy set up as below ran a 5.72 - best timed run....

Had I got a full practice session to dial in the tires and get the right pressure I may have gotten a 5.6 but that would have been tough to do. Damn Banshee's tore the track up pretty bad by the time I got to run. I should have switched to the Pro Wedges instead of running the Razr 2 tires. That would have helped to. But I'm switching the piston and cam over winter, and then I should be down in the 5.5 5.6 range. I know a wheelie bar would really help me.

Yes a wheely bar will let you set the suspension up to load the rear tires (instead of spinning) That's a BIG problem with the V, if there's traction you can't stay on the gas (with the suspension pulled down as low as it will go) it still wheelies bad.

Any bike with power will wheelie when it hooks up to good. The key is finding a medium in spinning and grabbing traction. If you dial that in good, you can really launch and get a great time.

yes but the V is really bad, heavy and high C of G. This one will power wheely (front wheels 12" off ground with the suspension strapped so it can't rebound) until it tops out.

that 4.281 in 200 ft isnt that bad for a quad like that. At the local drag here, stock yfz 450s are running low 4's with the best ive seen being a 4.1 flat bone stock. Best run ive gotten on my raptor is 4.3, but i cant keep that dang front end down.

Traction must be a little better there. we have no problem beating YFZ's with this V. (test track in gravel and last race was on grass)
