Default blaster reed spacer help

i plan on getting a reed spacer and i was wondering what size i shoudl get. ive seen up to 1/2 inch. idk what size woudl be the best to go with. what size and company would you guys recomen. i am also getting new reeds, boyesen pro series reeds. or is it worth it to just get a new cage and all. like v-force 3's or boyesen rad valve or v force delta 2's. any help is apreciated.
thanks
jeff

Default blaster reed spacer help

i was looking into getting reeds also and most people told me to go with the VFORCE 3's....i gotta save up some money tho. I also have a reed spacer and it didnt really make a difference at all..Im not sure if it will do anything with the new reed cage...i would suppose that it would do a little more with a better reed cage.

In my opinion reed spacers are pointless, but if youre going to get one get a 3/8 inch. Yes it would be worth it to get a new reed valve, i suggest a boyesen rad valve from personal experience.

i just read your reply, vforce 3's suck IMHO, and if youre getting a new reed valve, dont get a spacer it would be pointless.

Default blaster reed spacer help

cause my friend bought a vforce3 for his blaster with fmf pipes. he had it jetted correctly and it was ok. at this time i bought a boyesen rad valve off ebay, put it in my blaster and noticed huge power gains. My friend asked if he could try it in his blaster, and i let him. he put it in, got it jetted right, and told me that i wasnt getting it back, i did get it back, but he sold his vforce on ebay, and is now lookin for a RAD valve

ive never tried a vforce 2, but i'd imagine it wouldnt even be as good as the vforce 3 which isnt as good as the boyesen rad valve, id say get the boyesen rad valve.

The best reed valves on the market are actually the G3's. They have a real good increase over the stock, as well as v-force.
As for the spacer I use one on mine and seem to like it. You don't really notice a huge power increase from it, but everybit helps.
