I swapped my YFZ from race gas to alcohol today and didn't gain much. I am going back to gas after the Clash of the Titans this weekend. The gain it gave me isn't worth the extra headaches. I'll just have to become a better rider and get of the line faster.

Alcohol on a mild motor is really only a headache. Once your cam duration and compression reach a certain point, alcohol makes up where gas leaves off. Alcohol is really cheap compared to VP, though!

What's the temp where your at??? Alcohol doesn't make good power below 60-65 degrees...

It was in the upper 60's today. It did give me alittle more power but maybe only a half a bike length at 300 foot. Where we were at I could only run 300ft so I don't know what it is like on the big end yet.
