X-ring chains are better than o-ring chains, they last longer and have less rolling resistance
The difference is they are not round in diameter like an o-ring chain, if you would cut one of the rings and look at the end they are really an 'x' shape. This means they have 2 mating surfaces to seal dirt and water out of the rollers, and they don't have to be compressed as much, so rolling resistance is decreased. Just keep it lubed with o-ring safe chain lube and it'll last a long time.

Definitely another vote for X ring chains being better than O ring, all other specs being equal, like chain size, tensile strength, etc.
Look up info on the differences, if you don't believe the CORRECT info from the previous post, and you'll see why.
