How about putting a 14 or 15 tooth front sprocket

How much did it cost you to bore it to a 400?

Hi again,
To do the whole thing just bore it and stroke it cost me about $600 but if you do just that you will probably end up loosing power you should really get a new cam and valve springs and the list goes on but it is massive after you get done. I didn't think there would be this much more power from it but it is there.

The best way to get more power out of a warrior is sell it and buy a banshee. YOu get roughly double the HP out of the box and there are alot more cheaper proformance mods you can do to a banshee. I had 2 warriors then I got a banshee and I love it

I HAVE AND RACE A 98 WAROIR ON THING YOU COULD DO IS GO TO AN ALUMINUM SLEAVE AND HAVE IT NICASILED.ITS WORHT AT LEAST A COULPE OFF HORSES. PLUS YOU SAID YOU PUT NEW VALVES IN DID YOU GET OVERSIZED OR STOCK. WHAT CARD ARE YOU RUNNING A TM36-68 IS A GREAT CARB BUT IT GET PICK ABOUT THE AIR TEMP. THA WHITE BROS. 36 KIT IS ALSO A GOOD CARB. ALSO DID YOU KEEP THE STOCK HEAD PIPE? I'VE USED A DG HEAD PIPED WITH A SUPERTRAP IDSAND ITS GREAT. ASLO YOU DIDN'T MENTION WHETER OR NOT YOU HAVE AN OIL COOLER TI WELL WORH THE MONEY.

First about the banshee I'll whoop all over you either way a wise man once said it's not how fast you go but how fast you get there! Second the sleeve I hadn't thought about I run a 38 mm Mikuni with a accelrator pump. and the valves are not stock sizes.

RaceType, your list of hop-ups sounds pretty comprehensive; I can't think of a lot to add.

Are you having problems with your engine? Why do you seek more power? Do you find your power output disappointing even after these extensive modifications?

Well everyone, the long term 400cc Warrior project finally came to life
the other night, and am I ever impressed with the new power and throaty sound it
roars. Night and Day difference over stock. The improvement really is drastic,
and I'd highly recommend these Warrior modifications. The complete project took
almost 9 months,(my pace) and was worth the wait.

Specifics are:

.060 overbore and a 5.6mm stroker crank for 400cc (done at Powroll)
.430/.430 cam up from .380/.382 stock.
flow bench documented port and flow head gains of 10-30%.
Barnett clutch kit
lots of internal engine case bearings, shift rods and custom oil passage in
shift forks.
15/40 gearing
Supertrapp exhaust with Jet-Hot coated stock head pipe
Stock carb with K&N and holes in airbox.
Braided Stainless Steel plumbed Oil cooler.
Buffed satin finish engine cases with high temp clear coat.

<< I'm very impressed with the new found power, both in low end grunt torque,
a great mid range pull, and what seems to be awesome high rpm flow. Its what
I wanted, and pulls a larger front sproket and 15/40 gearing fine. >>
