Has anyone tried the FCRs with the thumb throttle, I see the kits come with a twist and am assuming they are too hard to pull with the thumb? If you have tried it how is it compared the the banshee? Does it make your thumb sore after a days ride? Thanks for any info.

Think about it!
Your drag racing under hard acceleration hanging on to the handle bars for dear life going over some major whoops. How are you going to let off the throttle without release the right side of the handle bar???

I don't see many of the hair scrambler racers using a twist throttle, The difference in terrain is unreal from the dunes and deserts to woods and rocks. Every trail we ride has rocks, Ledge that sticks out of the ground 4-5 inches, Try hitting a few of these with a twist throttle while navigating through trees. I have tried a twist throttle and tried to get used to it but its just not intended for this type of riding. I can see where baja and other types of RACING would benefit from the use af a twist but for normal riding around here where 70% of the time you are between 1/4 and 1/2 throttle it just doesn't work !
I am surprised that you are saying its not much harder to pull the the stock carbs. Thanks for the helpful post.

2stroke
I think your right it will be a little harder on your thumb with 2 mech carbs. What turn is the twist they come with? 1/2? I had a twist on my warrior and couldnt open the throttle near as fast as a thumb throtlle since I had to regrip. I can see how it would be good in MX since they lean over the bars in turns and alot of the turns are 180's
