DecDug,
The front wheels use the 6003-2RS (you need 4), and the back ones are 6006-2RS (you need 2). MyWifesQuad had that info above... use his link above to order them and they are very reasonably priced!

Latest on the bearing problem. I have managed to remove the axle from the carrier housing, and removed both bearings. The problem I now have is I think that the axle is a little damaged, and the bearing may not run properly on the shaft, due to the damage. Hopefully when everything is back in place, and nice and tight, this will not be the case. I will keep everyone up to date with progress.

Finally have time add to my bearing comments. I pulled the bearings on my wifes quad very early in its life, approx 4 hrs running time. They were pretty much junk when I pulled them. The problem I found was the spacer in the axle carrier, that tube in between the bearings was too long about .030 or 1/32 of a inch. I just shortened it on my lathe, easy for me tough for others. This was true for the front wheels also. Quality control or the lack of it. Should be easy to over come if you press the new bearings in while applying pressure to both races at the same time. Then you wont over press the bearings in and create pressure on the bearings. Hope that made sense.

Hi mywifesquad

That makes sense, I hope I will be able to ensure that I can get them back on correctly... For info 2 outer seals & 2 rear bearings (NSK) cost €35.00 (about $45.00) here in Ireland, and a set of breakpads €25 about $32.50. Ireland is an expensive place........

Real expensive, I bought a complete rear brake assy from yamoto for $32.00. That was complete assy, caliper, master cylinder, hose, lever, pad's, etc.... Even had the limit switch for the starter cut out on it.

I have a question for all yamoto 150 owners. How well do these quads do it wet condition's, not how they handle, but is the open magneto under that black fan shroud ever affected?? It seems fairly vulnerable to me and I have read of problems with similar designs on other chinese quad's. The wifes quad will be used this weekend and it should be pretty wet. The princess doesnt like water much, so the quad will see as little as possible.
