thanks alot for your responce

Ya, don't waste alot of your time like I had to do with Tank-Sports. Most likely if you ever get to speak with anyone over the phone they will just refer you to one of their dealers that is closest to us so you can order the parts through them. Tank-Sports will not sell parts to the public they are just a distributor for thier dealers around the US

That may be the case in your area but right now I know of quite a few sub-$2000 name brand wheelers.

The best deal setting is a used dealer near me has a 2001 Yamaha 4x4 400cc Big Bear with a blade and brand new winch priced at $1500.

Man its taking ALL I can do to not buy it....really is......but my ATV does everything I need it to.....although it would be nice to blade my driveway I dont NEED it. I have a perfectly fine ATV (Im telling myself this everyday......trying NOT to buy that ATV).

....your area may be far different and I do wish you luck if you try to unload the China wheeler.

This is just a bunch of incest. Tank distributor is same yohos as the atvparts website you mentioned, says right there they are owned by tank; even email is parts@tank-sports.com . Tank dealer is obviously hooked up to Tank. All sources are all sleeping with each other.

Two things I would try. Find the largest Tank dealer and order from them. They should have the most pull with Tank.

Start really looking for some stamp or id on the engine/tranny to identify what it is and what other atvs use it. Most certainly that specific engine/tranny is used in a number of different machines and you can get parts from other sources. Of course, the quality will be no better but at least you are running down the road again.

If any quad that uses that engine is approved for sale in California then you can get a lot of detailed info from the government site that licenses these things. The engine would have to be CARB certified (CAl. Air resources Board) and all the cert details are posted online. Once you see the engine details you can search around for others who have used the same engine. Last I looked though, the number of Chinese motors being certified is way down from the peak 2-3 years ago. good luck.

I agree buying used a couple year old with low miles on is really good right now. However a "well" used 4x4 can be costly.

Make sure you check it out good. I know guys that got smoke'n deals and others that got screwed and ended up selling them at auction to get rid of them as they were worn out.
Cv axels, bearings, clutches do add up but again it depends if you can do the work yourself.

Don't give up yet!! Someone in the US has a clutch for that machine.

I bet if you sent a company like this KG Clutch Factory - Product Line your parts they could match up something to work.

Take a picture of the plates and measure the diameter of them, then post them. Maybe we could match them up for ya.

You proved my point with your answer. That atv has 9 years of abuse and is still bringing in $1500. Mine has less than 100 miles on it and less than a year old.

Words can't even explain how angry I am with Tank-Sports right now. I just recieved my "replacement parts" from UPS. I want to start off by mentioning that all the parts are used and taken off parts atv's. They all have been mounted before, have light scratches on them and even the mounting screws are stripped on the light control they sent me! Everyone of the lenses are cracked just as mine are currently but probably worse. As soon as noon time comes I am putting a complaint in to California Motor Vehicle and calling my brother to see what the next legal step is. This is rediculous. I gave them too many chances to resolve these issues. Ont top of it all they didn't even sent the cylinder head they promised me to replace the damaged one.

Yes, not only did I recieve all the broken parts pictured above from them but they did not send the rubber boot, pinion seal, o-ring or the replacement cylinder head like they promised
