Ac 650 top speed of 71mph!!Stock or not??
I was highway riding with my chum lastnight when he said his speedo was reading 71mph. I know for a ract that the speedos on the AC 650 are accurate and have been tested with a GPS. Of course i did not believe him, But I was riding my sp800 and the Gps and the speedo were both reading 69mph. as I looked behind me, he was slowly gaining on me. I was in the full upright position and was was crouched down, as soon as I crouched down, I began to pull away on him. My top speed is 72mph.
My question is how fast have you had your bike go. I think my chum has done something to his bike to get that fast, but he wont fess and swears that it is stock. What are your thoughts?

Speedo readouts are effected by things like tire size, tire wear, tire slipage to the street. I find 71 abit high and I would believe your GPS before any speedo readout. My AC 400 reads 2 mph higher than my both my GPS's. Believe the GPS. He will believe his speedo as it pumps his ego.

i think 72 is BS.
i know a guy who just got a new 800 bomb and he says his will hit 72mph and every one i have talked to says the new bomb is the fastest ute quad out there.
and i have a buddy with an 05 650 cat and he has a few mods on his and my kawi is still faster then his.
so like i said BS.

Hey mud blaster it is allright to call BS. I understand most things are slower outwest. If you are having a hard time believing that my sp800 will go 72 wait till you hear how much I weigh. Last I checked I was 322lbs I will have to take the Digital camera out with me and post a vid of a 72 mph sp 800 with a 322lb man on the seat. That should shock ya more!! Give me a few days to get the vid out.
