Like the title says, i need a clutch cable,and the dealer wants over $100Ca for one, please tell me there is better option

 

There is one on EBAY right now I think that it was going for like 20 bucks last time I looked.

 

I think I paid $30 with tax from my BMW dealer.

It's take very minor modification but it works.

 

i was the high bidder on the ebay cable, and i have had another forum member contact me about a used one
vegas, tell me more about the bmw cable, what kind of modification did you have to do?

 

The cable is actually just a hair too long for the housing to work properly on a DS.

The ends are all the same.

The screw that is on the lever, that you use for adjustments, needs to be longer.

I used one from an old MSR ez pull that I had laying around.

PM Budtarr to see if he could send you a picture. He has my old 03 that has that cable on it.

 

Hey jason you can also go to terrycable.com and get a stainless steel braided cable for around $40 usd only prob is they take a few weeks to get one.
