I ordered a billet aluminum sprocket cover last week and was curious to know whether it will stop the chain from cracking the case if the chain breaks?? After hearing about DSMikes luck I was getting curious?? If not, I'm glad I know one of the best welders around. He claims he can even weld "the crack of dawn".

 

Good question Rockey! Does anyone make one that could be called a case saver and not just a sprocket cover for looks? We could use one built out of titanium ! I know dsmike could have used one!

 

I think they install over the top of the factory aluminum case saver. Let me know when you get it!

I just emailed the guy that sells them on ebay. He sold me one for $100.00. I paid about a week ago and still haven't received it. I'm going to email him and see whats going on.
