Number 2...so what? Im not gonna loose any sleep over it. Its not gonna change any opinions. Look at it this way...if you own a ford f150, and chevy takes over the sales lead...you gonna throw away your ford? Gonna start to question your ability to pick the correct truck?
Its like saying the majority of the people on earth are non christians...does that effect your beliefs? Just because the majority thinks one way...doesnt make it right. You still need to do whats right for you...And i gotta do whats right for me....and they may or may not be the same answer. If you dont like hondas....dont buy one, and im not gonna slam you for your choice, its your wallet..buy what you want.
You got the caps right though....honda is and has always been the leader in sales, thats a fact. Whether or not they hang on to the title...is speculation.

like i stated earlier, hondas could use a difflock(not entirely nessecary, but useful since others brands now have them), better user friendly maintenance(oil filter in particular), and perhaps a little better handeling or suspension. i believe these are about the only thing the rubicon is missing since their upgrade. correct me if i'm wrong. dont even go to the EFI thing. i believe efi is a mistake on atv's. anyone see atv riders article on the popo 700 efi and the zuki king quad efi. had to take popo to dealer for altitude adjustment........ i thought efi took care of that. still both atv's seemed to bog at the higher altitudes. what gives, if this is the case maybe they should stick to carbs. mine always seem to work well and have always worked well in previous atv's. just my opinion again

Get the facts straight, Polaris had to adjust the clutch for elevation not the efi. If you read the next month's issue the editor will put a retraction for printing that the efi needs to be adjusted for elevation because it doesn't.

well Honda is the most relaible ATV on the planet!
I get so tire of hearing that BS..I worked for a Honda dealership.Yes Honda ATVs are reliable, but since 2002-2003,SO are the OTHER manufactures..Some of you Brand Loyal guys make it sound if you buy a Honda, you'll never have a problem?I was'nt without tranny issues on my Rincon either,in fact,I took it to 3 differant dealers before it was fixed correctly, and its back in the shop now.
I think the topic Greg Hall wrote was LONG overdue and also very truthful..I did'nt really miss alot of the features that my Rincon DID'NT have UNTIL I BOUGHT my KQ..
You guys brag about Honda being #1 in ATV sales, but what are you going to say about 2008 when this is NOT so anymore?
I know what im going to say---------Remember Greg Halls Editorial?WE TOLD YOU SO!!

Honda sells about 29% of the worldwide market for atv's and Polaris is just behind with 26% and Yamaha is 3rd with 25%. The rest of the manufacturers make up for the other 20% such as Kawasaki, Bombadier, Arctic Cat and Suzuki.

then you risk putting out a product like the Raptor that turned many away from Yamaha brand
ahhh, i thought the raptor helped yamaha?
and i agree with the author of this message, the least honda can do is actually put differential on one of there quads, and there rincon is a joke

sdbowhunter, i'm sorry i cant see the future "we were led to believe initially thats its fuel injection system would compensate for altitude, to which polaris said that it would... with a small adjustment by the dealer... high altitude exploring requires a stop at your local polaris affiliate" i dont know where the clutch comes into play here, it was never mentioned. and the last time i checked fuel and air have nothing to do with the clutch. so as far as that goes i am RIGHT cant read an issue that i didnt receive yet.

I don't know how the magazine screwed it up but they did. The only thing on the efi models that you do have to adjust for elevation is the clutch. I guess all of us can't believe everything we read. Sorry if I came off a little strong.
