Default Rancher 350ES Leaking Gas

My Rancher was leaking gas. I put a new kit in the carb. It still leaks at times. It will start running rough(flooding) sometimes and when I shut it off it will leak all the gas out the overflow tube. This just happens now and then. Can anyone help me with this? thanks

Either the float valve is leaking allowing the carb to overflow, or I believe that model has a primer **** and if the rubber piece has cracks in it the float bowl will also overflow.

Default Rancher 350ES leaking gas

Thanks, It is a 2001 model. I don't know of a bulb. I don't think it has one. I replaced the needles etc. with the kit. There is just something causing the float needle to hang sometimes I guess. One small enginge man told me to put fingernail polish around the seat. If it were leaking there it seems it would leak all the time. Thanks

2001? clean the fuel tank and line completely.
change out the float valve - part number 16155-413-751
stay away from the nail polish - it can work ... then again, it doesn't.

I hadn't thought about cleaning the fuel tank etc.. It did sit for a long time before I got it.
Thanks

honda rancher 350es ran fine and then just started running as if carb flooding starts fine and takes throttle until u put it in gear and then it chokes out in about 10 to 20 feet; when stopped, after a few minites it leaks a puddle of gas about size of 2 hub caps out of fuel overflow line (I think, the line comes off bottom of carb) it hasnt been sitting up

The three most common things to cause this condition.
1. Float level set too high Or binding.
2. Needle Valve or needle valve seat worn.
3. Dirt under needle valve.
