A pipe and clutch kit are THE best mods for the 250 and 400's. You can also contact RCR, Ritter Cycle Racing for some gear. Rick has a easy but very effective airbox mod. And don't forget to rejet. I think most people here would agree with me but I personally would not get the Hotseat kit. For one you cant change the silencer on it and they are very loud, It wont give you as much HP as some other pipes would, You could get a better kit for way less money. HPD is the top but you will pay more, If you want a complete kit that you can change silencers and get more HP then RCR stage 1 kit is the way to go. For $325 plus free shipping you get a pipe,silencer,clutch mod, and airfilter mod. Here are some sites to look at. You will be much happier in the long run with HPD or RCR.....
