How did the stiffer spring do that HSP sent you?

Like sp70003 said, but bear in mind that was with the stock secondary, not the team unit. Would 75-110 be an increase in the stock spring rate of the original (non-Team) secondary? That's one thing I don't know, is whether the HC secondary has a higher spring rate than the stock spring.

That is why I asked what the rate was, of course the service manual doesn't give a rate just a color of a white/yellow for that quad so I'm going to have to dig a little deeper on that one. Olman do you still have the stk. tires on your quad? Correct mef I'm wrong but you are saying that the stk. sec. with a hc gray sec. and hc primary set-up is pulling harder for the first 20 ft than the team secondary with the same primary set-up? Are you going by seat of the pants or are you on radar how are you testing this?

And don't get me wrong, the 105-165 could very well be the best setup for the stock primary. I'm not faulting you guys, you're going by Team's recommendation. I think it needs some more tweaking on my end.
Lawnboy, I didn't mean to highjack your thread.

Ok sounds good its cool when guys do there own testing and set-up on there quad I think we need more of it I havn't rode your quad and as we know everyone of them tends to be a little bit different, but what ever feels the best for you should be on your quad. Becarfull too if you are not upshifting fast enough your quad may sound fast because the rpms will raise quicker but you wil be accelerating slower.
