Hello All,

Has anyone ever shopped around for the extended warranty to get a better price. It would appear any dealer can sell them, but I have been unable to find the bottom line price.

Second part of the question, has the extended warranty been worth it?

im not sure on the price ive heard 250 to 500.00. i think it depends on the amount of the deductiable. i got a 3 yr extended on my 800 as part of the deal when i bought it w/ a 50.00 deduct. on any break down.

 

I didn't buy the extended warranty . Too much fine print about what they will & will not pay for. Misuse, abuse, etc,& they make those dicisions, so they don't have to pay for a repair.

 

i bought the extended warranty, 4 years, i also bought the fail safe thing witch im usin right now on my trailboss because of the back axle. warrantys do help, i just always say that it is a company malfunction so i get most of my damaged or broken things for free. i think its bout 400 for the failsafe and don't kno bout the extended warranty. i just signed the papers and left.

 

I just bought a 2006 800 EFI, but didn't purchase an extended warranty. I'm thinking I should have. What are my options now?

 

I got a lifetime warranty for $50...................It is called a service manual

 

Hmm, that's funny.. I wasn't able to find a service manual that included all the parts free. I guess I'll have to keep looking

 

If you ever notice most warranties suck.Either what is broke isnt covered or they just charge you for the labor.
