New Outlaw 525 did not start today?
I went to ride the outlaw today and it did not start. Tried choke on/off, finally gave a little gas when trying and still nothing then battery went dead. Ended up ridding with the kids on there outlaw 90s.
I started the 90s in my garage that is kept around 50 deg and then drove them outside and warmed them up. the 525 I took outside and tried to start it. the temp outside was around 25 deg. Could of it been the change in temp?
Is it ok to use starting fluid spray on these and if so whats a good brand? Or is there a better method for starting a quad thats cold and hasn't ran in a few weeks?

I am an idiot, I am used to the scrambler gas cap that shows how much gas is in the tank. I just opened the cap on the outlaw and could see gas in the bottom. I just went out there and checked and thought maybe there is not enough gas so I put it in reserve and it fired right up :} oh well at least now I know!

I will have to get a can of starting fluid as I ride alot in the winter and I always have to hook up atleast one quad to the charger because it doesn't start right away. The batts. just don't seem to hold as much current in the cold. I used to keep my scrammbler on a trickle charge but with 5 quads its just not possible.

I did exactly the same thing. Thought it had gas, saw it in the bottom of the tank. Tried for hours to get it started, then someone mentioned that I should check that. I flicked it to reserve and it fired right up. Talk about embarassing. That is very comforting to know that it has tons of reserve gas though on the bright side.
