cc1990; have you ever written any reviews about your collection of bikes? I'd be interested in the strengths and weaknesses of each of those bikes. @ may add one more big bore to my collection.

here is some info on some sand drags with the Outy. http://aurorawheelers.com/forum5/2725.html

here some info on the Tcat, it has a lot of comparison data in it comparing the Outy and the Tcat. http://aurorawheelers.com/forum6/9482-5.html

In general, I think the Outy is the most comforatable, well balanced, best handeling, smoothest riding machine in the stable. it does fall short of the X2, and the kitty in terms of ground clearance, the X2 is a good machine for steep technical trails, and it can pack on a lot of gear. The Tcat is fast, its not all that comforatable though so, unless i am going somewhere that i know there will be racing involved and that is quite often, it stays home its also not that much faster than Outy. Check out those other threads and if you have any specific questions feel free to ask.

I have only had the X2 a few weeks, and have only had it out once. So reviews of it will come as soon as I can get some more seat time on it.

Hey cc1999,before I got my X2 LE I had my dealer call his rep to find out if it had the H.O. motor. The rep said it did.Otherwise I would've bought a leftover 07.

The dealer I got mine from said the same thing, but one thing I have learned over the years, is that dealers say a lot of things that not always true. I was told there was not a drop in cargo box for the T, turns ou there is one that takes the place of the back seat on the T models, and its a Polaris accessory item.

Here is exactly what my buddy told me word for word.
I had looked up the engine components. Only the Sportsman got the upgraded camshaft and the new cylinder head in 2008 and the only one dubbed H.O. The rest of the 800s have the same components as the 2007 800s. I don't know about the info they provide to C.A.R.B. but it sure looks like 36kw, but it sure seems to be unchanged even though they touted a 10% power increase.

The 2008 service manual also shows a hard rev limit on the 800s as 6,500 and a rev limit of 6,600 on the H.O. There would be no need to differentiate if they were all H.O.s. Soft limit has the same 100 rpm difference.
