Do the engineers try these things out...

Yep, the 850 seems to be a nice machine for some folks, but there still are some things that need to be addressed (like the front suspension). The problem is, the only thing that Polaris did on the 2010's was cheapen them up a little... that's not a good sign for the future.
Got to believe the 850 is a nice machine for a few more than "some" people.
He's got me on ignore, so I won't get an answer. Anybody else know about the front suspension issue?

Have you pumped them with grease lately? Might be a sign that the U-joints are bone dry.
I just bought an Onkyo receiver for our home theater. It is an amazing unit for under 1K

Not sure if your 800 drive shaft is similar to the 500. If it is, there is a fitting on the rear part of the shaft that can be tough to get at. Make sure you get that one.
I hope your machine treats you well, and all the noises turn out to be just that... just noises.

I checked the diff fluids- I'll take a look at the ujoints in the am before I hit the trails. But the machine has less then 200 miles on it!
I'm a big home theater audiophile - I built a dedicated theater in my house, have about $30k into it. Onkyo makes a good av unit- I just upgraded from my Yamaha RXV995 to a Dennon AVR 3310ci- paid just over $1600 for it (one of Dennons cheaper high end units ) The heart of my theater is my Pioneer Elite projector and motorized drop down screen. Anyway- I could talk AV for hours so I'll stop here...

Nice AV gear! I've gone Onkyo SR8 series with 6.1 Paradigm speakers and Sony LCD. Awesome setup without too much invested. It blows me away. I'll upgrade again when I jump up to 72" LED TV. Use the PS3 as my blueray player. Everything runs HDMI through the Onkyo. Love it.

Yes, dont' miss any. I would put it up on jack stands in the AM and get under the bike....turn the wheels and look around for any zerk fittings tucked up and away. Maybe somebody who owns an 800 can tell you exactly how many there are and where they are.
