Snowride: Sometimes you may be in a predicament and have no access to shovels or help and as a last resort I would do it.

Point taken and a good idea. Thanks. Have you had to do this before?
Most cases I have been too far way from an anchor point for a winch or a rope with the closest points being 75 to 100 feet away. I guess I should come up with some kind of pull pall like the trucks have.

Only on my Xplorer and it was a godsend. My alternative was a 5mi. walk in winter conditions.

The 500 clutch is set to enguage very low so you bairly have to touch the throttle and it will move. So when you are idling the cluthch is enguaged a little bit, you need somthing to free it up or let it enguage later then it won't be stressing the drivetrain at idle. If you get a clutch kit or just a stiffer spring this jammed gear thing woul be gone.
