Big bore kit for lt230s
On ebay there is a big bore kit for an lt230s if anyone is intereted. Its not mine, but its nice when you can save about $300-$400 buying one. Its only $100 starting bid and the guy doesn't haven't advertised well, so it might go cheap. The big bore kit is a $300 kit, plus what it costs to get the sleeve installed, heres the link for anyone who wants some crazy power:

important info on clutch rebuilding. it will also be added in the Vault by me.
if you have an engine# below 104360 you need a different kit than if you have an engine# above 104361.
i will add the part numbers for both eninges in the Vault for reference.
(there will be the oem, vesrah, and ebc part numbers.)
finding a race clutch has been a total nightmare. so if the info will help anyone it'll be in the Vault tonight.

the lt250s also has 2 different friction sets. plus the added cost of another friction and steel doesnt really add up for me. plus it adds to rotating mass in the engine. even if its a few grams of weight. lighter is better, thats what you taught me. i even shaved my tire lugs off in the middle. put em on my back up 230 and i couldnt believe that it made a difference.
i found a kevlar race clutch that is bullet proof for the Mistress.
and if anyone would be interested in stainless steel header bolts, mag cover and clutch cover bolts, pm me and let me know. i may be able to put a few sets together.

I've always had trouble with the 230 clutch slipping, but never the 250 one.
i even learned some neat tricks with the clutch system for a 230s.
have the steel drive plates mic'ed. if they are 1.6mm. you add a 2mm plate in the middle of the stack. it helps the clutch to grab hard and no slip at all. this will only work if your engine# is 104361 and higher.
well off to the Vault i go to update some new info.
