It makes it a little harder, but just having good compression to begin with is hard to kick without the compression release lever.

So I just picked this up and was told that wont idle. After reading threads got proper carb adjustment and runs great now looking to improve any help would be grear. Thanka

Yet another question. k&n high flow air filter, or a uni?

Default 1987 LT230S parting it out..

I am sadly parting out one of my favorite toys. Please let me know if there is anything you need that I might have. I still have a lot of stuff, engine in straight frame, exhaust, air box, seat, plastic, excellent steering column, wheels, tires, handle bars, more..

What octane gas should I use? I live in Utah so it goes down to 85

Really? How come?

I use 87. Octane just slows the combustion speed. If you hear pinging, go to the next octane. Otherwise run as low as you can get away with, but 85 sounds too low.

Haha yeah, here in Utah, 87 is plus and 89 is premium.
