Just coz of your knee you cant go to the garage? (it is your knee, right?)

I'm not going to be able to do too much for a couple weeks either. By the time everybody gets back to work and I can place some orders and wait for it to arrive, it will be at least 2 weeks. Kustom Kraft dont open up till the 7th.

Oh, I looked in the book and found out the 2504wd and the 230 have the same size rod small end. So, the 80 over deal should bolt right up to the 4wd. Now I'm going to see if I can pull the jug up high enough to get the wrist pin out w/o taking the piston out of the jug. That way I wont have to re-seat the rings. Hope the sleeve is long enough for the 72mm stroke. That's an extra 5mm of stroke.

Now that I've determined it will fit,,, I suppose a 273 kit would fit as well,,, in theory. That would have to be something like 300cc in the 4wd.

And that being said... What's to stop some guy somewhere from taking the crank out of a 4wd and putting it in a 230 case and having a 300cc quadsport??? (or whatever cc it really is). I wonder if it would fit?

I'm sure we can bore it out again,,, it is a new sleeve. The problem is who makes the new piston? I've tried to figure it out before with 270quadsport guy. I think you posted your part numbers too, but I cant cross reference them.

You need one of those hov-a-rounds or whatever they're called. Then you could zip around the garage n get into another wreck.

LOL, my wife is always telling me I'll be on one of those lark scooters some day!
I looked at my la sleeve catalog and it says it is a weisco piston. But same thing, i couldn't cross it with weisco.. I have never called la sleeve though..
