85 to 88 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport help.
I bought my caliper and feeler gauge today and to test out the caliper I measured the piston that I pulled out. It was 67.35mm, I'm guessing it was like yours Randy not a 66.00mm but a 67.50mm. Also looking at the photos in the clymer repair manual I don't see valve reliefs cut in the head of the pistons they show in the photos but mine has valve reliefs.

You have to measure the skirts, not the top or the sides.

You have to measure the skirts, not the top or the sides.

Sounds about right. Sure the 20 isn't too big? Are you running a KN filter?
figuired i would let everyone know i got the tm28 dialed in. 20 pilot/ 280 main, 5L1 needle with the clip all the way at the bottom. engine runs good, i feel the main is a tad rich but once i get more seat time i will dial it in.</end quote></div>
