I'm going to build a "box" out of a curved piece of plastic that used to be a cheap mudflap on a truck. I hit some deep water and was going slow, but still, the filter got wet. It didn't bother it, but it made me think that out on the trail in the mountains it could be much worse.

I'd put the dirtbike engine in. More power with no extra weight.

 

im thinking that way ...i have to check to see if the height and width will fit in the frame ..doesnt anyone know of anyone who has done a swap or some pics

I'm sure somebody has swapped an engine into a 230, but I've never seen it.

Seen some cool engine swaps on youtube.

sorry i miised this post...
the ones on the quad are 20" trail claws 2, the ones in the stack are 22" titan at489

 

The ones on the quad look like they would bite really well in a straight line, but still let you slide.

thanks man ive got her down to the frame not that was a pic when i first picked her up for 300 bucks ...hopefully by this summer she will look a lot better..

Nice touch with the White Brothers sticker too. Those guys know their shtuff! And I like the little blue hose. I'm going to have to steal that idea. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I have a polished billet gas cap I got off ebay and the little neon hose would really set it off.

Hey, you wouldn't wanna take one back wheel off and drop it on the scale sometime for me would ya? I know how much TracStars and Kenda Klaws weigh, but I don't know the FastTrekkers.
