Louder=Better...to a certain point. I'm glad I have a lot of private land available to ride on where no one cares about the noise. I'm itching to take the quad and the trike on some state trails this summer though and need a spark arrestor...i'm looking at the cobra sparky spark arrestor but for 70 bucks I don't think it's worth it. No brake lights on these things either but I don't think DNR really cares much about that.

im glad i dont have issues with that. other than little sahara, i only ride at a couple places. millcreek for trails and a private owned/operated place. id just have to pack it up if they told me to get an arrestor.

I may try it out though...it's gonna be ugly as crap but easy to take off when I don't need it!

Yeah and then the more I think about it we'll just load 'em up and head to my cousin's 1200 acre farm and ride......I think I have a new summer project, cutting some trails through his woods

He farms about 900 of it and there's probably 200 or so of woods...and after planting I can still ride fence-rows but wooded trails sound like a big and very fun project

i think a little more than half of my dads is forest which includes a pretty deep canyon. ive got relatives that have set up massive hunting plots down there; tree houses, stands, and feed plots. there was always a trail to the bottom but they cut one in that goes up the other side. its pretty rough. definitely not a fast thing. ive rode the lt down there but its much easier on the bayou. id love some good trails i could ride on the lt.
